Supporting our beneficiaries takes many forms, and one of the most enjoyable is the chance to offer our community remarkable experiences through our raffles, made possible by the generosity of our supporters. This year we are grateful to the Galt House Hotel, not only the host of the Unbridled Eve Derby Gala, but a steadfast partner in our mission.They generously donated one of their premium two-bedroom suites, complete with food and beverage, to host up to 35 guests for Thunder Over Louisville 2027 on Saturday, April 17, 2027.
If you have never experienced Thunder, it is hard to overstate the spectacle. The all-day event opens the Kentucky Derby Festival each spring and stands as the largest annual fireworks display in North America. Along the banks of the Ohio River in Louisville and across the water in southern Indiana, an average of more than half a million spectators gather for a day that builds from one of the nation’s top-rated air shows to a thirty-minute finale launched from barges and the Second Street Bridge, with the pyrotechnics staged by Zambelli Internationale. From a private suite above it all, with food, beverage, and a clear view of the river, it is a vantage point few ever enjoy.
